Jahanzaib Ahmed (“I”, “me”, “my”) operates jahanzaib.ai (the “Site”). This policy explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, and what I do with it.

Who I Am

I am Jahanzaib Ahmed, an independent AI consultant and the data controller for all personal information collected through this Site.

What I Collect and Why

Contact Form

When you submit the contact form, I collect your name, email address, company name (optional), the service you are interested in, and your message. I use this to respond to your inquiry and discuss potential work together.

Your submission is delivered via Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), a transactional email service that processes your data solely to deliver the email.

AI Chatbot

When you use the AI chatbot, I collect the messages you send and your IP address (for rate limiting). Chat messages are processed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) Bedrock using Anthropic's Claude AI model to generate responses. Messages are processed in real time and are not stored persistently after your session ends. AWS Bedrock does not use your inputs to train AI models.

The chatbot may also collect your name, email, and project details if you fill in the lead capture form within the chat. This is used to follow up on your inquiry.

Important: The chatbot provides general information about my services. Its responses are generated by AI and should not be treated as professional advice.

Booking (Cal.com)

When you book a discovery call, you are redirected to Cal.com, a third party scheduling service. Cal.com collects your name, email, and any information you provide during booking under its own privacy policy.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

I use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site. GA4 collects pages visited, time spent, general geographic location (country/city), device and browser information, referral source, and a randomly generated client ID stored in a cookie. I have IP anonymization enabled and do not use GA4 to identify individual visitors.

Session Recording (Microsoft Clarity)

I use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Clarity records mouse movements, clicks, scroll behavior, pages visited, and device information. Form field inputs are masked by default. Clarity does not record text you type into forms.

Bot Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

I use Cloudflare Turnstile on forms to prevent spam. Turnstile may collect your IP address, browser characteristics, and interaction data to distinguish humans from bots. It does not use traditional CAPTCHA challenges or track you across sites.

Cookies

The Site uses the following cookies:

Analytics (Google Analytics): _ga and _ga_[ID] distinguish visitors and maintain session state. Expire after 2 years.

Session recording (Microsoft Clarity): _clck (user ID, 1 year), _clsk (session, 1 day), MUID (browser ID, 1 year).

Bot protection (Cloudflare): cf_clearance verifies the Turnstile check. Expires after 30 minutes.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect the Site's functionality.

Who I Share Data With

I share personal information only with the following service providers, and only as necessary to operate the Site:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — AI chatbot processing, site hosting
• Google — Website analytics (GA4)
• Microsoft — Session recording (Clarity)
• Cloudflare — Bot protection (Turnstile)
• Amazon SES — Transactional email delivery
• Cal.com — Appointment scheduling

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

How Long I Keep Data

• Contact form submissions: Up to 2 years, then deleted.
• Chat messages: Not stored. Processed in real time and discarded after your session.
• Analytics data: GA4 retains data for 14 months. Clarity sessions are retained for 30 days.

International Data Transfers

I use service providers based in the United States (AWS, Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare, Amazon SES). If you are in the EEA or UK, your data may be transferred to the US. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and the providers' compliance with applicable data protection frameworks.

Your Rights

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data. You may withdraw consent at any time and file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are in California (CCPA): You have the right to know what data I collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale. I do not sell personal information.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
