Pakistan runs on PKT (UTC+5) with no daylight saving. Most of Australia is five or six hours ahead of me, Perth three, so the overlap falls in your afternoon.

There is no solid public dataset of freelance n8n rates in Australia, so I do not quote one. The official earnings data for software programmers is the best benchmark for an in house hire.

Privacy and hosting
The Privacy Act 1988 and the APPs, applied to n8n
If your business is covered by the Privacy Act, the Australian Privacy Principles follow personal information into every workflow.
Who is covered
Businesses with annual turnover above A$3 million are covered, and so are some smaller ones, including health service providers. If you hold health records, assume the APPs apply.
APP 8 and overseas hosting
Sending personal information to an overseas recipient, such as n8n Cloud in Germany or a contractor in Pakistan, means taking reasonable steps so the recipient does not breach the APPs, and you stay accountable for what they do. Self hosting in the AWS Sydney or Melbourne region keeps the data onshore, and I work from test data by default.
Breaches and automated decisions
The Notifiable Data Breaches scheme means a leak likely to cause serious harm must be reported, so workflows log access and keep execution data short. The 2024 amendments add transparency duties for automated decisions that significantly affect people, which matters if an AI step decides anything about a customer.

Financial services, professional firms and agencies. Client onboarding, document intake and reporting into Xero or a CRM are the common builds.
Melbourne
Healthcare, education and retail groups. Health providers fall under the Privacy Act regardless of size, so onshore hosting in the Melbourne or Sydney region is the usual choice.
Brisbane
Trades, construction and property. ServiceM8 or simPRO jobs flowing into Xero invoices and review requests, with no daylight saving to shift the overlap.
