AEO prompt generator

Tell me what you sell, who buys it and who you compete with, and this writes the questions those buyers type into ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI answers. Ask each one yourself and see whether your name comes up. It all runs in your browser, so nothing you type leaves the page.

The category a buyer would search for, such as law firm or SEO agency. Most prompts need this.

Your company or product name, for the comparison and evaluation prompts.

Your buyers in the plural, such as small businesses or dental clinics.

A city, region or country. Leave it empty if you sell everywhere.

Competitors (up to 5)

The names a buyer would compare you with.

Tailored to your own site

These templates know only the words you typed. The signed in version on my tools app reads your site and uses AI to write prompts from your real pages, offers and wording.

This opens app.jahanzaib.ai, my free tools app, where you sign in. Only the address you enter goes there.

Coverage

What it writes

  • Discovery questions

Unbranded questions such as who the best providers are in your city. These matter most, because the buyer has not heard of you yet.

  • Comparisons

You against each competitor you name, plus the "alternatives to" questions buyers ask when they are about to switch.

  • Evaluation

Whether you are a good fit for your audience, what customers say about you, and what to look for before choosing.

  • Price

Cost and budget questions, local when you give a location, and whether you are worth the price.

  • Problem questions

Questions from someone who has the problem but is not sure they need your category yet.

  • Clean wording

It writes "an SEO agency" and "a law firm", handles plurals, and skips any question that needs a field you left empty instead of leaving a gap.

Method

How it works

  1. 1

    Describe your business

What you sell, your brand, your buyers, where you sell and up to five competitors. Only what you sell is needed for most prompts.

  2. 2

    Read the set

The prompts are grouped by intent and update as you type. The same inputs always give the same set, so you can compare months fairly.

  3. 3

    Ask each assistant by hand

Paste each prompt into a fresh chat in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Copilot. Note whether you are named, whether you are linked, and which competitors appear.

  4. 4

Keep the list and run it again

Copy the set or download the CSV, then ask the same questions again next month and see what changed.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is an AEO prompt?

It is a question a real buyer types into an AI assistant, such as which law firm is best for startups in Denver. Answer engine optimization is about getting your business named and linked in the answers to questions like these, so the first step is knowing which questions to check.

Why are most of the prompts unbranded?

A buyer who already knows your name can find you. The valuable questions are the ones where they do not, such as who the best providers are or what to look for. If an assistant names three competitors and not you, that is the gap to work on.

Does anything I type leave my browser?

No. The prompts are built from templates on this page, and nothing is sent anywhere. The only thing that leaves the page is a site address you choose to send to the tailored version on my tools app.

How is this different from the tailored version?

This page knows only the words you type into it. The signed in version on my tools app reads your site and uses AI to write prompts from your real pages, offers and wording, so the set fits your business more closely.

Why do I get different answers each time I ask?

AI assistants do not give the same answer every time, and the answer can change with your location, your account and the model in use. Ask each prompt more than once, in a fresh chat, and look at the pattern rather than a single answer.

How many prompts should I track?

Keep the ones a real buyer of yours would ask and drop the rest. A short list you check every month tells you more than a long one you check once.

Rather hand it over?

I can find the fixes and ship them for you

I run SEO and answer engine optimization as one managed program: the pages, the technical fixes, the markup and the mentions that AI assistants read. You get a plain monthly report on what changed.
